UK GDPR Statement

Corporate Connect is committed to safeguarding personal data and operating in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Governance and accountability
- We maintain internal data protection policies and controls.
- We apply role-based responsibility and access controls.
- We review processing activities and compliance obligations periodically.
2. Data protection principles
We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR principles, including lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity and confidentiality.
3. Data subject rights
Individuals may exercise rights under UK GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability.

4. Processor and partner controls
Where we use service providers or professional partners, we implement due diligence and contractual controls to protect personal data and ensure lawful processing.
Where Corporate Connect introduces clients to independent providers, those providers are responsible for their own UK GDPR compliance as controllers or processors in accordance with their contractual role.
5. International data transfers
Where applicable, international transfers are protected through recognised safeguards, including UK IDTA, UK Addendum and adequacy mechanisms.
6. Incident management
We operate procedures for identifying, investigating, containing and reporting data incidents, including notification where legally required.
